Part 2: Setting Realistic Goals!

If you have read Part One then you have made the time and sacrifice and you are ready to begin a workout plan or are you? What exactly are your goals? What bull’s eye are you aiming the arrow? What do plan to get out of this plan that you have made? Why did you wait until 1/1/07 to make the plan? A lot of my writing is not actually about routines, sets, reps, and alternatives to the Adkins diet. I am here to keep you motivated when it’s easy to throw the plan away and forget it. Most people start a fitness regimen but are unclear on what exactly it is that they want in return. So the next part is simply that? Are you setting and meeting realistic goals?

Part 1: Something Has to Go!

Life is a balancing act. Instead of a tightrope, you have twenty-four hours to hold your life together. Including travel, at least ten hours belong to your career or whatever source of income you may have. If you work less than that per day, then you already have an advantage. The other seven hours if you go to bed at midnight belong to your husband/wife, keeping the house maintained, and the kids. The Murder of Your Motivation: Intro

New Years Eve!
You are the host of a party and all the guests have arrived and have settled in. The catered food is great and the bartender keeps pouring the drinks. Sometime during the commotion, you are left alone with your thoughts, and you pat your belly or rub your bigger hips; you do not like the way you look.
The inches have slowly crept up on you like a tiger in the brush. You long to once again fit into the dress you passed on to your younger, naturally slimmer (thanks to dad’s side of the family), sister. You want that dress back.This is the moment you decide to dedicate yourself to getting in shape for the New Year.
