Tom may work hard at his job and at his fitness plan, but he definitely knows how to balance that out with having a good time with friends and family. Here are some photo’s of Tom with his good friend, Dave Glover, playing at Brewskee’s in O’Fallon, MO. And of course, I couldn’t resist getting [...]

Nathalie: When you implemented the lifestyle changes discussed by you and Charles D’Angleo (Tom’s personal trainer), how long was it before you noticed a difference in your energy and/ or over all health?
Tom: It was about 2 weeks before I noticed a change in my body, but I immediately had more energy.

Tom’s goal 1.5 years ago was to loose 150 lbs. He weighed 368 lbs. and was, as he likes to teasingly say, the big “O”. Obese! Along with his lofty weight-loss goal, he also had type 2 diabetes and a lifestyle which was slowly killing him.

Tom T: 45 years old
Starting Weight: 368 LBS.
Starting Date: October 2005
June 2007 Weight: 267 LBS.

In fact, when I first heard about Tom Terbrock, it was from my friend, Chris, who had heard Tom’s story of weight loss on the radio while listening to [...]

Break Out of the Ho-Hum Huddle
Down by a touchdown, the Montana Mighty Moose needed a win secure their playoff berth, a first for the snowy region. The sellout crowd of 450 was to their feet and the blurry field mangled with remnants from the previous three quarters. Their rivals, the Utah Fighting Salt Flats needed [...]

Murder Your Un-Motivators
I walked into the gym right after New Year’s Day and they had this sign up…
Bring a Friend!
Workout Together!
Have Fun!

Murder! Murder! Murder! I thought to myself. I began a tirade in the lobby at my fitness club spewing forth profanity after profanity while I took the sign and jumped on it [...]
