July 22nd, 2007 — Fitness Motivation
Break Out of the Ho-Hum Huddle
Down by a touchdown, the Montana Mighty Moose needed a win secure their playoff berth, a first for the snowy region. The sellout crowd of 450 was to their feet and the blurry field mangled with remnants from the previous three quarters. Their rivals, the Utah Fighting Salt Flats needed a win as well for their spot in the playoffs and they were not a team to fold so easy. Continue reading →

Murder! Murder! Murder! I thought to myself. I began a tirade in the lobby at my fitness club spewing forth profanity after profanity while I took the sign and jumped on it like it was a roach in my basement!

New Years Eve!
You are the host of a party and all the guests have arrived and have settled in. The catered food is great and the bartender keeps pouring the drinks. Sometime during the commotion, you are left alone with your thoughts, and you pat your belly or rub your bigger hips; you do not like the way you look.The inches have slowly crept up on you like a tiger in the brush. You long to once again fit into the dress you passed on to your younger, naturally slimmer (thanks to dad’s side of the family), sister. You want that dress back.This is the moment you decide to dedicate yourself to getting in shape for the New Year. Dick Clark starts counting down and you are counting the days until you can say. “Give me back that dress!”
